if you were hoping i’d be able to answer that question in this post, you’ll be very disappointed. i am as clueless as you and have only really put this up with the optimistic aim of lissy reading it and emailing me back to say “the album is done, we’re back on the road. why don’t you come and meet us back stage when we’re in london later in the year.”

it must be 18-months now since i saw her perform at the ica. i had stumbled upon her a few months before and got tickets to see her instantly. she actually cancelled the first gig because her drummer was ill or something, so it was later than expected that i saw her, but she blew me away. her ‘self taught lerner’ ep is phenomenal. ‘boy boy’ is one of my favourite tracks from the past couple of years. her cover versions of hot chip and biz markie (with adam green) are original and brilliantly done. i could rave about her forever, but what i really want to know is… where the fuck is lissy trullie?

wikipedia, myspace and her blog are no use. she has been tweeting occasionally though, so at least i know she isn’t dead. please lissy, get in touch. we’re worried.
