live review: wolfmother. kentish town forum. 1 june 2011.

it’s a bit of a haze if i’m honest. i remember ‘woman’ and i remember ‘apple tree’. i couldn’t tell you a single other song they played though. all i remember is sweat, beer and a whole heap of elbows. how i came out alive and with my glasses and shoes still about my body i will never know. i woke this morning to the usual hangover, but also a huge swelling on my ankle. it doesn’t look or feel good.

all this was just part of what could quite possibly have just overtaken ash at reading as my favourite gig of all time.
