one stop railway are the special kind of band that make you stop and think. their new release, colourbleed, is once again something special. the guitar opening to the first track, ‘burn’, feels orchestral. things somehow only get better from there on in. smart lyrics, lyrics that feel to be cleverly arranged yet still conforming almost to a stream of consciousness drag you in to the music, and from there on in you find yourself lost in the music.
it’s talented musicians, it’s wonderful sounds, it’s a beautiful vocalist, it’s almost as close to perfect as you can ask for, and yet it’s so easily accessible.
the only thing I can genuinely say to you is get yourself involved. but this. see them perform live. make personal friends with them. marry one of them if you can. this is a special band that is going places. do it. for yourself.
